Guffed is on a distinguished road
Mac Mini / Bootcamp / 3ds Max 2008

Title says it all really.

I currently use a 24" 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with 2Gb of RAM at work. I want to buy myself a Mac Mini as a little workstation for home. Obviously, it will come with Leopard and Bootcamp. My first question is, will the current variant (2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2Gb RAM) of the Mini be able to run 3ds Max? My main concern is with the Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory.

Is anyone using the above configuration, and how do you rate it (not forgetting it won't be my main machine)?

Also, I've read a lot of the Mini being discontinued, is this true?

Lastly, if it's not being discontinued, how long has the 2.0GHz been around, and should I wait for a processor increase?

Lots of questions, I know!!!

Thank you very much.
