Was it made with Boot Camp? Launch Boot Camp assistant again (Applications/Utilities), and delete the Windows partition with it.

Deleted Boot Camp partition but...

I have deleted the Boot Camp partition and gone with Parallels. The problem is that when I reboot the computer, I get a black screen and a message prompting me for my Windows disc. I have to reboot holding down the alt key. Is there a way to get rid of that warning?

Thanks,

T

When in OS-X go to System Preferences then to "Start Up Disk" then select the Mac OS-X icon. This should make it default on a reboot to Mac OS-X. To get to the Boot Camp disk you have to hold down the "Option" button on power up.

Are you sure you've really deleted the partition, and not just the windows data on the drive? You shouldn't be seeing that message asking you to insert a Windows install disk. This video shows how to delete the partition, just to make sure you really did.
