Booting Back into OS X

I'm having trouble booting back into OS X. Here's the situation. I partitioned the drive in Boot Camp successfully and then I restarted the computer to install Windows. However, I found out that my Windows XP CD is scratched horribly so I'm unable to install it.

Fair deal I thought. I'll just boot into Mac OS X and remove the XP partition. No can do. The Mac keeps insisting on booting up the Windows partition and I get an error "No bootable disc found".

How do I tell it to boot back into OS X?

powermac is on a distinguished road
You can try to reboot the Mac holding down the X key while booting.

If that does not work, you can hold down the option-command-shift-delete keys at start-up as well, this will allow you to select the start-up volume you want to boot into.
