On install, no option to format Boot Camp partition

I made a partition using Boot Camp without incident, but when I boot from my Win XP CD I get stuck on this screen. The last time I went through this process I was sent to a screen like this one, which allowed me to reformat and install Windows. Any ideas about how I can get the new partition to boot properly from my Win XP CD would be greatly appreciated.

Some background:
I installed Boot Camp on the same computer before and it ran well until I installed Parallels. After that, I couldn't boot from the Windows Partition, so I uninstalled Parallels. This didn't make any difference, so I removed the Windows partition using Boot Camp Assistant.

I'm using the same CD that worked last time and am running Leopard on a MacBook.
