Didn't you read the BareFeats' article speed test? Yes the 7200 speed will be faster but will take about 20 minutes off the battery time if you use the drive a lot. However doing voice/music recording on battery if foolish in my opinion. Plus music recording (and especially video) will take up HUGE space. Keep that in mind.
