Boot Camp resets resolution

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently working with a MacBook that is connected to a projector in a classroom. The projector's native resolution is 1024x768. For some reason though, after logging into the virtual machine and the desktop loads, the screen flashes and reverts to 800x600. We can manually change it but it will not save the settings upon restart. I checked the group policy and didn't find anything there. Also re-installed the video drivers. Is there anything I can check? Perhaps a registry setting that anyone has come across? Any help is greatly appreciated.
