Flash Chat: "Socket Server Connection Failed"???

I went to macosx.com/forums/chat, typed in my username and password and it accepted. A new window opened and said:Loading Main Chat Window, loading system, loading seetings, and then a blue background appeared, with a new little blue window, that also requested me to type in my username and password. Just now when I do it, this error message appears: Socket Server Connection Failed.

Is this still the old Flashchat software, or is the new one now also not working properly?
