    Question Using velocity in Flash?

I've never used velocity in a Flash animation before, but am trying to learn about it. As an example, having text move across the screen at a certain speed and then slow down as it nears its destination– that sort of thing. Is there an easy way to implement this? Maybe I'm just not searching for the right terms, but I'm having trouble following the one or two tutorials I have been able to find.

    Thanks,

with a tween selected (i.e. the space between keyframes on a tweened animation), in the properties panel, there is a setting named 'ease'

+100 is all the way in (slow to full speed), -100 is all the way out (full speed to slow), 0 is no velocity or easing at all.

Ah-ha, perfect! Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know– I figured there was probably some little setting I was overlooking.
