High Dynamic Range Images in OS X

After diving into High-End 3D with Maya this year I discovered HDRI files and image based lighting. It is a great tool for achieving photorealistic renderings. Problem is there is no support for HDRI in photoshop and the few apps for OS X either don't work, run under X11 unstably, or are just plain crap. Anyone have any info on working with HDRI in OS X 10.3.5 or if there are any plans to port over HDR shop to Mac?

    HDRI on Mac

I use Greg Ward's Photosphere - it opens Radiance .pic and .hdr files, exports as jpeg, tiff, LogLuv, and can create hdr's from a series of images

I've been using Radiance for about 18 months, and use Photosphere every day.
