old Cinema display VS. new one????

How much better is the new cinema display?

Can you really benefit from the greater resolution? Can you SEE a difference?

Is looking at the new display like looking at an HDTV with an HDTV signal? Like crystal clear looking through an open window???

Is there anywhere where I can see the display on ... er display? LOL. I would like to compare the old with the new. I live in So. Cal

    thanks!

    Carlos,
I would think the Apple store would have it on display (just don't quote me on it).

If you're in Lost Angeles (I'm in Burbank by the Burbank Airport), go to the Glendale Galleria:
    http://www.apple.com/retail/glendale/

Or if one of the other locations are easier for you to get to, check here:

(wow, didn't know there where THAT many in the area! Sweet!)
I'm not around here (much) anymore...
Look for me in friendlier places.

    Apple Stores in Canada

We could really use apple stores in Canada. Hmm... I guess it would be a problem for apple. They would have to redesign their beautiful stores to fit in igloos... Could that be done, it gets a bit cold in the igloos here... Mind you the ice would go with the snow look of the new iMac..

YES, we need Apple stores here in Canada!

Toronto would probably be a good start, then maybe Vancouver, and other big cities.

I think I could handle the 2 hr drive to Toronto if one actually was built there.

There's one in Buffalo. That's almost in Canada.
What is going on at this place?
