Question question about possibble existence of possible input device

Is there any type of device that plugs in via USB and has lots o' buttons and one programs macros or apps or stuff with MaxMenus into it and you click a button to do stuff? Not a mouse or keyboard.

I guess the closest you an get to that is Kensington's trackballs. They have lots of buttons, but they are mice, and they're pretty expensive
