Powerbook 540c battery

OK simple question with a simple answer i just dont know what it is. On the Powerbook 540c does the ac adapter charge the batteries or do i need a charger i have looked all over online and have found nothing about a charger and only one site having the adapter.

Thanx in advance.

I'm 99.9% sure that the AC adapter charges the battery inside the PowerBook. I've never known it to be any other way.
