| HELP iPod sounds like crap!
In the past 1/2 hour my iPod took all my songs and they now sound like crap! The vocals are almost gone in all the songs. If i run it through iTunes and the computers speaker it's all good but if i plug in headphones it sounds so bad. And we've tried different headphones. So i think it's the jack.  These all have a 1 year warenty right?! What should i do? On the bright side, will apple let me upgrade if i take it back and it needs to be replaced? Thanks Twister  |

it happened during the middle of a song. And the equilizer has been the same for weeks. So i doubt that. Twister |

Try stroking it tenderly  No, really, try re-starting it (hold Play and Menu at the same time for some time) and see if that might fix it...it's worth a try...

So after talking to Apple i did a hard restart and the same thing happened. But when i got in my car i hooked it up to my iRock and it worked fine. It also works fine here at school now. Weird Twister |

Have you tried restoring the iPod to factory settings?
