My New 867 Dual

I just installed my new 867 dual yesterday.
The feel is totally amazing, the finder in OS 10.2 is blazing fast
FINALLY I feel the speed of my good old OS 9 finder.
The Jaguar version is (6C115)
I just have the original 256Mb in there for right now but
I should correct this next week.

I ran a few compression yesterday with Cleaner 5
and I have to admit that I didnt feel a great improvement
in comparison with my QS 733MHz.

Gonna finish to install everything else this weekend and might have more
info fo you all, BTW if any of you want me to run little tests I'll be please to do so..

Try and run the tests found in the "test your real world machine speed" thread.

Did your QS 733 also have 256MB? In any event that can't be enough to do much these days.
I've noticed a big improvement over my QS 800, and in both I have maxed out the RAM.

I never used Cleaner 5 but it sounds like it doesn't scale onto the second CPU.

Applications have to be written in a way so they can take advantage of a second CPU, maybe Cleaner 5 is not written that way so it only used one CPU, and one 867 CPU is not that much faster compared to your old 733 Mhz).
