| firewire enclosure suggestions Hi all, I was hoping to rip the dvd/cdrw out of my pc and drop it into a firewire enclosure and use it on my powerbook. I did a search and found that some success has been had so i thought I would ask... Which enclosure would anyone recommend for my Ricoh IDE DVD/CDR-W... and where might I be able to find it. any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

| I got a Piranha enclosure for my ext hard drive and am happy with it. It's cheap ($50) and uses the Oxford 911 chipset. Don't know if there would be any issues with a CD instead of an HD. ... Ahh, Piranha has a special on Open Box versions of their HD/CD enclosures for $41: http://www.piranhatech.com/products/...productid=3109 -Rob

| I have got an acomdata 80 gig drive and it has worked flawlessly on X and classic. I have also purchased an external firewire generic case from compusa that is working great, but that one i have only used on classic. jeffo |
