Better drivers for LaserJet 6L

I managed to figure out how to print from my Mac through my Windows machine to my old LaserJet 6L printer. However, after taking a closer look at the printouts I've made, I noticed that the resolution looks inkjet-quality instead of laserjet-quality. It's really not that big of a deal, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if there's a way to find better drivers for it. HP doesn't supply drivers for OS X, which isn't too surprising considering it's an 8-year-old parallel port printer.

I'm currently using the "HP LaserJet 6 series - Gimp-Print v5.0.0-beta2" driver. Is something better available, or should I just be happy that I got it to work as well as it does?

Thanks,
Jeff
