Isync And Palm Trouble

Hi!

I'm having trouble getting my Palm software running again after it started crashing during syncing Entourage and a Zire 72. Since then, I've decided to trash Entourage and use Mail (works great!). Now I'd like to get iSync and HotSync to work again.

What I've done:
- removed as much Palm software as I could find, including conduits, users etc.
- done a clean install from Palm CD
- updated to 10.4 compatible version

What's the problem:
- iSync keeps telling me that the Palm software has not been installed properly, and that it can't install the iSync Palm Conduit...
