| Interfacing a Video Camera With An Imac G5 I recently purchased an iMAC G5. While it has both a firewire port and several USB 2.0 ports, the setup leads me to believe that the system will only accept input from a digital video camera through the firewire port, not the USB 2.0 ports. I have a Samsung digital camera, which does not have an IEEE 1394 output port. I had been using it with the DAZZLE USB/video converter to take the component audio/video, and input it via the USB port of my old Compaq laptop. My question is - is there anyway/device which allows for the input of digital video information into an iMAC G5 computer OTHER THAN through the firewire port??? |
