Problem With Bluetooth Using Hp 2610 Printer

Hi

Can anyone please help? I have lost faith in HP support!

I am using an iMac, with OS X 10.4.2, and want to connect via bluetooth to my HP Photosmart 2610 all in one printer.

HP are saying this can be done, but they are yet to come up with a solution!

This is what I've done so far:
installed the software (uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times)
connected using USB cable and the printer does print
tried to setup bluetooth device, get as far as the Mac seeing the printer (via bluetooth) and then when it tries to configure I get a 'missing printer software' message.

Does anyone have any ideas or solved this problem? Would appreciate any help.
