| My Powerbook G4 Dvd Drive I am not sure what has happened but it all started when my daughter gave me an audio disc she had made .I think it had a label that I think caused it to stick . I retrieved it by gently pushing back into disk recess what looked like the end of an armature .I inserted nothing in there . Now when starting computer I get a series heavy clicking that lasts for about 20 seconds before it goes away . It will not accept a clean Dvd and I am concerned as what to do . Can you help ? I have babied this unit and have used the drive very little . Thanks , david |

| If it wasn't a professional CD label then I'd worry what it has done to the internals of your drive. Try purchasing a DVD cleaner and run that in your drive, otherwise you might have to take it to Apple to have it cleaned or replaced.
