right mouse click not working

I have a Powerbook G4 aluminum running Tiger 10.4. I just added a new Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0, and installed the IntelliPoint 5.2 driver. I have set up the mouse right button to be click / control. (I have also tried secondary click / control.)

Now when I click on a folder I can't get the contextual menu to open up, you know, where you can change the color of the folders name? And right click just doesn't work the same as it did with my old wireless 2 button mouse???

Did I goof up the settings - how can I get back access to the contextual menus? (just doing control /left click from keyboard doesn't do it either.)

Help needed in cold and snowy Alaska!
Munday
