I've had a problem with my powerbook for some time now. If I leave the computer, plugged in or unplugged, and it goes into the power save mode. When I come back, I'll start using it, but the first time I type anything it forgets the first letter I type, just skips it. Like I have to wake up the keyboard separately. My A key was quite sensitive and they replaced the keyboard last week. I was hoping that it would fix the problem, but hasn't. Seems more like a software issue to me. It's driving me nuts, please help. PowerBook G4 1.5 Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Nobody? I thought this was kind of common, from talking on a smaller computer forum?

missing keystroke The problem is the updates. I have been dealing with this also and driving me crazy. Not many people have this problem from what I have found out. One thing that seems to work is the newest version of Tiger 10.4.6 is the new dvd. If you install from this dvd it might go away. The updats are part of the os install on the disc not added to the os.
