| i've been trying to troubleshoot this with a friend that has a mac with just about identical specs, and he seemed to think it was something with the graphics card...i think you might be onto something. could you suggest a video card that would be an upgrade from what i have now, but not break the bank so-to-speak? thanks! |

| Well, you've got quite a few to pick from: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/video/hardware/ I don't own an AGP-enabled Macintosh, so I'll leave the suggesting up to someone who has more experience in that area... but you can look over the price list and get a rough idea -- the more VRAM, usually, the better!
