Here's my problem. My iBook has a jacked up internal antenna, and it is going to cost me hundreds to fix. I have an everyday need to access a wireless network at school AND work, and this is really depressing me. I am looking for other solutions since my airport card will do me know good. Are there ANY usb/firewire 802.11b adapters out there that will work with OS X? I fear I'm running out of options...PLEASE help me!

Try MacSense , they sell the AeroPad, a little adaptor that you plug into your USB port.
