| are there any know problems with playing mp3's from the lacie d2 (600gb) bigdisk extreme drives. my partner (using OSX 10.3.9/Quicksilver 800mhz/1GBram) complains of the dreaded spinning beachball when playing from the lacie AND doing other things ranging from doing her work using Photoshop and Dreamweaver to just surfing on the net. At times she gets the spinning ball going from anything from a few seconds to over 4-5 mins: when she's either playing tracks, copying tracks to the lacie - even when just renaming a track from the library! Has anyone had problems like this from the lacie d2 drives? Can it be a generic problem using firewire drives in this way? Or is it a lacie drive problem. thanx to all that can help
