 powerbook freezes while surfing Hi, I have a 15inch aluminium powerbook G4. While on the internet, and while scrolling (or using page up/down) it has had the habit of freezing and the graphics on the screen become horizontal lines of what was the web page. It has done this since I bought it (ebay). I have installed addtional memory (crucial)and also done a clean install of tiger ( it had panther). But no changes. At a complete loss as to what is wrong and what to do. Can you help? -dm  |

| I would first suspect the RAM in the computer -- remove all 3rd party RAM, leaving only the Apple-installed RAM and see if the problems persist. Barring that, it sounds like a hardware problem... usually non-user-serviceable, unfortunately. If it does happen to be a hardware problem, powerbookmedic.com is a great place to start looking for repairs.
