| Problem with optical drive I have an iMac G5 17" 2 Ghz with a Superdrive MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-845 (firmware DBN9). The problem started after a failed burning with Toast. Since then the drive reads only CD's and no more DVD's. Can anyone suggest something useful ? Thanks  |

| ive had the same problem too, i thought it was random... but i remmbered the last thing i burned was in toast and that failed... now my drive cant recognise CD-R or DVD-r |

| this is strange as i had this happen last week and now i cant read or mount DBD-r blank or burnt |
