| Pioneer DVR-111D Problems in a G5 PowerMac I have a dual 2.0 Powermac and just recently replaced the stock superdrive with a Pioneer DVR-111D DL DVD writer. The drive installed fine, but will not burn a dvd. It appears in System Profiler...but does not have burning support. Upgrading firmware seems to be impossible as all the Pioneer firmware updates are .exe Is there a trick to get these drives to work in a mac? Joseph. |

| If your using 10.3.x then you will need PatchBurn 3. Also if you bothered to search this site's forums you would have found this post on how to update Pioneer firmware.
