| I just purchased a Radeon 9600 pro to replace the NVidia 5200 in my Dually G5 1.8 GHz. Had to get the dvi to adv adapter to connect my 17" Studio display. After troubleshooting a few extensions issues I am up and running. The problem I am experiencing is that the touch sensitive power button on the monitor is no longer functioning. I cannot use it to power up or put the machine to sleep. If I try to put the machine to sleep through the main menu in acts as if it's going to then powers right back up instantly. Any ideas? I do have the latest software and drivers from ATI. |

| the problem is that dvi is just video signal. the other options, like the power button on the monitor to work for the whole computer, is only supported on adc cards. by installing a video card without adc, you have lost the ability to use those other options. sorry.
