Option keys and command key isn't responding

Hi all,

I have started work this morning to discover that both of my option keys and one of my command keys isn't responding.... Hmmm!!!!

Is there any software reason why this may not be working? Or is this likely to be the keyboard itself which needs replaced?

Any help or advice would be most appreciated...

Ian

Does the option key work at boot-time to bring up the boot menu? If so, it wouldn't be a hardware issue...

Did you use another keyboard to see if the problem persists or is resolved?

I took it to my Apple reseller and they tested it and discovered that the keyboard itself was faulty. Luckily the G5 is still under warranty so they replaced it for me there and then.

Thanks guys.
