Cool Keyboard acting wierd

Hello,

I am a new Mac user... so far so good! However, I have encountered a small hurdle and was wondering if anyone could give some assistance: For some reason my "num lock" and "caps lock" have to be on in order for me to use my key board noramally... This has seemingly reversed with the "normal" application where by "num lock" has to be on to use the keyboard as a number pad and "caps lock" to type all in upper case. I would greatly appreciate any input.

Thanks
