| I want to password protect my external HD partitions so that they can not be automatically opened when they mount. I used to do this in OS9. Is it possible in OSX (I have Tiger) or do I need some extra software. If so can anyone recommend something? thanks Martin Payne |

| That looks like it's a Windows app. I don't have any other suggestions, but you might want to read this thread.

| What about an Applescript to keep them unmounted when logging in or booting, and another to mount when needed.
