Can I use Power Book RAM in ibook?

Wanted to ask if this would work before trying it...

Have aquired a 1GB DDR 2700 SO-DIMM Memory Module (part KTA-PBG4333/1G) from a friend's powerbook.

Will this work in my late 2004 12" G4 iBook? It's currently running the standard 256mb with no expansions fitted.

Thanks,

Matt

yes, that will work, although it'll be restricted to 266mhz. not to worry, as that's the fastest ram will go in an iBook anyway.

iBook takes PC2100, but 2700 is supported.
