my bluetooth mouse.

i'm using a mac book pro, and i just got a planex bluetooth mouse. the passkey on the mouse for pairing is 1234, but everytime i try to pair it on the mac it says it's trying to pair with my mouse with a empty passkey.

how can i pair the mouse with my mac then?

Did you try pairing it with something other than "Mouse" as the device? There's an "other device" option, isn't there? Perhaps that will let you specify the passkey. You might even get it to pair as a keyboard, my iMac thinks my Logitech mouse is a keyboard.
