| New iPod Video Problem I just bought my ipod video (30 GB) the other week....and loaded on all my stuff from itunes I noticed that most of my songs get cut short...by different amounts Some songs have 2 secs cut off, while others have as much as 30 secs cut off. The songs play fine in itunes....but not on the ipod. I also noticed that if i am listening to a song, and its at the 10 sec spot (meaning 10 secs remaining), i can scrub backwards a short bit and it will be at a later spot then i was when it had 10 secs left, but now the scrub bar will say 25 secs remaining. I can usually do this a few times until it has the correct amount of time left...but its really annoying. any ideas? i also noticed that when scrolling through my lists, or adjusting volume, the movement is choppy. I dont remember this happening on my earlier 1st gen ipod, or my 4gb nano.  |

| The seconds disappearing could have something to do with "gapless playpack", although I haven't seen such behaviour...

| You say you just bought it.. is it fully updated to version 2.0.1? For songs being cut, right click on the song, click 'get info'. Go to 'options' tab and check that then start time and end times are correct. Maybe the end times have been changed and so cuts the end of the songs? maybe... |

| itunes says im "up to date" but the versionb says 1.2.1 im on a mac....should this be higher version? |

| i searched online and see updates for windows to 2.0.1 and 1.3 ... but cant find downloads for mac version |
