Multiple ATI cards conflicting?

I'm trying to install an ATI Radeon 7000 graphics card in PCI slot B in my Dual 500 G4. Unlike most Radeon 7000 cards, this one only has one VGA output. I have a Rage 128 Pro in my AGP slot (slot A) that works fine, and I intend to keep it installed so that I can use both cards for multiple displays. I've installed all the necessary software indicated on ATI's web site but cannot get my mac to recognize the Radeon 7000. The two softwares installed are "ATI Displays 4.5.7" and "ATI RADEON 10.3.6".

Here is what my system profiler sees in my PCI slot B:

pci1002,b:

Type: VGA-Compatible Controller
Bus: PCI
Slot: SLOT-B
Vendor: ATI (0x1002)
Device ID: 0x5159
Revision ID: 0x0000

I think maybe the drivers are conflicting? I'd like to get my mac to recognize both cards so that I could run a dual display. Right now ATI software doesn't even show evidence of the Radeon being installed. System Preferences doesn't show any options for dual displays. Any help is greatly appreciated.
