Question G3 300 B&W Overclock ... what's safe?

Hey all! New Mac owner here hoping to get a little insight.

I recently acquired a G3 B&W PowerPC. I know that there are better processors available and would like to eventually upgrade. In the meantime, I am considering my first-ever attempt at overclocking.

I have found information on jumper settings for overclocking; however, I am wondering how far I could safely overclock my PowerPC. Also, what precautionary measures should I take so I can ensure optimal performance with minimal wear and tear on the CPU.

Any input is appreciated!
