| bluetooth mouse and keyboard i have an imac with a wireless mouse and keyboard, and lately the bluetooth icon in the upper right corner keeps flashing with a battery icon behind it. i presume this means the battery life is getting low. how can i check the devices' battery life, there must be some way to do this. also, i've only had the computer for a month now, but the batteries are i ready dying i think. i never turn the device off, even when the computer is off, it's just a pain in the ass. does this really affect battery life that drastically or do these just have poor battery life spans? |

| I have the old Bluetooth mouse and the batteries last about a month. In my Bluetooth Keyboard the batteries seem to last forever. You can check battery levels in the Keyboard and Mouse Preference Pane. |

| You can also buy really good rechargable batteries, I have some, and it made my Mouse last for about 2-3 months. I'm pretty sure, that the keyboard batteries last longer, because it can sort of go to sleep.
