Booting from raid??

Hi Folks,

I am wanting to re install 10.4 on my 400Mhz G4 on a stripped raid volume.

I have booted from my install disk, used disk utility to create the stripped volume and installed 10.4.

However, when I boot the machine it comes up saying that its booting OS X and then I get a blue screen with the spinning coloured disk for a mouse pointer.

Is booting from a stripped volume possible?

Thanks

Jon

It is possible.

Can you safe boot it either? (Hold down shift after you hear the startup chime, until you see the starting up mac os x screen).

Or hold option at startup.
f this doesn't work, restart your computer while holding down the Command, Option, Shift, and Delete keys
