iMac Upgrade

This is a favourite iMac - cute.

Machine Model: iMac
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (2.1)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 800 MHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 100 MHz

Is it possible to upgrade the hardware to the last of its kind and are there reliable companies who do this?

Reason is it is quite slow - esp. with Adobe PhotoShop - 7.

Not a lot of upgrades available for you. Here's a page on your imac:

You could go up to 1.5GB RAM and go to Photoshop CS for better performance.

Pity- I wondered if the MB if the last round base iMac could have been swapped!

But, memory goes up to only 1GB. It was the USB 2.0 that was the second main upgrade I wanted.
