| help! supported dvd burners
I currently own a Sawtooth G4 with 1gb ram and osx 10.3. I plan to update to 10.4 asap. I bought a Samsung DVD-rw model model SH-S182D to replace he dvd-rom since I would like to be able to burn dvd's and cd's. However, under system profiler and itunes, the drive is "not supported". Is this due to software or is the drive itself completely incompatible? thanks! E  |

Nevermind. For future users, download Patch Burn (http://www.patchburn.de/download.html) and it will bridge the divide so to speak.
