| External FW Hard Drive not mounting...
I have a Fantom drive with 2 partitions. Smooth sailing until today. One partition mounts on the desktop (_3 shown below) but the other (_2) does not. System Profiler shows it there, but empty?:\ Disk Utility shows it as well, as mounted, but not the right icon, a blank page. icon WHen I "unmount" it in Disk Utility, the icon appears there. HELP! First Aid ran clean. Does it appear in terminal?' Type "cd /volumes" and then "ls" (leave off quotations) Does the drive appear along with the others? If so it should still be there. If not try another disk utility program such as Disk Warrior or Norton Utilities or Tech Tool. Also it is possible that the drive may be damaged or failing.
