Using a Cinema Display with a Radeon HD 2400 PRO video card?

I am forced to use a PC (about 4 months old) that has a Radeon HD 2400 PRO video card. I tried hooking up my 20" Cinema Display (aluminum) by connecting it to the DVI port in the card, but it never turns on. Does anyone know if this will work? If so, what drivers do I need to install?
