| Smartboard Dead, Need to Access Drive My iBook all of a sudden refused to boot one day, giving me intermittent flashes of blue, green and red before turning grey. I haven't troubleshooted this very much, but from looking at other posts my logicboard is dead. If you have another explanation, let me know. My hard drive is still fine (to my knowledge) and I need to know how to somehow get the information off. In short, how do I get my information off my hard drive and on to something else? EDIT: Sorry for using the term smartboard. I meant logicboard - a smartboard is something else I'm thinking about in my life right now. Last edited by ryanbach51; March 20th, 2008 at 05:08 PM. |

| You can a. Pray that Firewire Target Disk Mode works: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58583 or b. Pull the internal HDD, plant it in an enclosure: http://www.google.com/search?q=noteb...ient=firefox-a Good luck.
