LCD cracked a bit

My LCD screen cracked a bit at the bottom. Its about a little over a 1/4 of an inch. would that be covered under warrenty?

Ok. I guess its upto them. the thing is that I've been babying my notebook in the way I treat it. The only thing that could have been done is that I render A LOT with my notebook and it cracked right on the edge of the heat vent on my MBP. so that might have caused it. it looks about 50 pixels dead

Act heartbroken and really upset.

It sounds like it cracked in an unlikely place for drop damage.

If they don't cover it you can always go to the cheapest Mac Specialist site on the net at MacService. They have a 15 inch installed for $485

If you've never dropped it (and I do believe you) then that most certainly would be covered under warranty.
