 HP 1315 Photosmart and OS/X 10.5.2
OK, I have a new Mac with 10.5.2 OS. I have not yet been able to print via USB cable to this printer. I tried the latest GIMP drivers (v5.2 Beta) to no avail. It starts to talk to it and then says "waiting for printer". If I unplug the printer, it sure knows it and tells me "unavailable."
My frustration in general is finding stuff only for OS/X 10.{OLDER THAN 5}. Example - I found a driver for Photosmart printers valid only for 10.2.1. Not very useful. Forward compatibility is apparently a big problem with Macs??
Can anyone suggest how I get this to print?
