Won't print until Airport Express unplugged

Intermittently my HP Deskjet 5150 will not print a document until I pull out the Airport Express from the power source and then plug it back in. Then the printing will work fine for a day or two. My OS is 10.4.11 on Mac Mini. Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem? Thanks for your time
