KVM Sharing Keyboard+Mouse Between Mac+PC

Alright, so everything seems to work well. I have a trendnet KVM which claims to be OS X compatible and all keys work great. Microsoft Keyboard, Logitech Mouse on board. The only problem is that Mac OS 10.4 keeps asking me what kind of keyboard I have and makes me go through the keyboard identification procedure again and again.

Can I set the keyboard permanently? This is utterly annoying..Heh
