VISCA interface on Powerbook 10.5.4

Greetings,
I am looking to setup an interface with a Sony Block Camera FCB-H10. I understand that VISCA protocol is a means to do so, but don't know how this would work with OSX 10.5.4 Ideally I'd like to have a realtime video feed as well as control the functions of the camera. I currently have FCP 6 that operates on a 2.4GHz powerbook. I am new to this problem and appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.
