Red face Stupid MacBook Keyboard Question

I've done a silly thing and spilled a sugary beverage on the keyboard of my MacBook. Before I risk doing something stupid, though, I thought I'd see if anyone out here knows: Do the keys on a MacBook's keyboard come of? I'd really like to clean underneath them; the resulting stickiness is starting to drive me crazy (it was just a few drops and didn't do any other damage).

Some people in this forum's thread have had luck popping the keys off of the MacBook keyboard to clean them:

I would recommend reading through the entire thread, though, before making any decisions.
